Young Alumni Tailgate

Join us for an old school tailgate with alumni from the past twenty years. The young alumni giving program has started, however "young" can be perceived as a lifestyle more than an age.

This is our way of saying thanks to you for supporting Lenoir-Rhyne. The details are as follows:

Saturday, August 29th
5 p.m. - Until
Shorter College (Rome, GA) vs. Lenoir-Rhyne
Tents located on Football Practice field, look for banners.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks provided (BYOB)

Join the fun with friends in some good ole' fashion competition with corn hole and other tailgate games.

This is just the beginning of many fun young alumni events. Thanks again for supporting The Fund for Lenoir-Rhyne last year and we hope you do so again this year.

Annual Fund mailings are on their way!

Brendan and I are very excited today. We have all three of the large mailings for the Fall developed, and they are being proofread today. We hope to have all of the mailings to the printer next week! As the summer progresses, we will post some photos of what is going on in the office so make sure that you check back.

L-R Champions has a blog

Wow, Lenoir-Rhyne is moving full steam ahead. After much thought about how to make the University Champions effective and informative, a blog appeared. I hope to update this blog two times a week so that every champion knows what is happening on campus, and how they can be involved.

The blog is just the tip of the iceberg of what is happening in The Fund for Lenoir-Rhyne office. Brendan is doing a wonderful job designing all of the mailings to be sent in the fall, a new giving website is being created and much more is in the works. Brendan and I even had the opportunity dress up as Joe and Joesy bear for a photo opportunity which is featured on this page. All of these things are taking place, but the most exciting is that the Champions program is moving at a quick pace with the naming of the 2009-11 chairs, Jane Handly and Kathy McKenzie. These two ladies bring so much to the group, and they are very excited to be chairing The Fund.
